Xceptance LoadTest 3.3.1 released
2010-02-03 15:17
XLT 3.3.1 was released and offers three major improvements to increase the flexibility and simplify the usage of XLT.
- Added ability to comment the test execution as well as the project test definition. All comments will be included in the test reports and therefore aid the test documentation.
- The distribution of load across heterogeneous machines has been simplified. Now the agent definition within the mastercontroller properties accepts a weighting factor that is taken into account when balancing the users across machines/agents.
- The WebDriver support has been improved. The Driver delivered by XLT can act as a drop-in replacement for the original HtmlUnitDriver now. Additionally, writing cross-driver scripts (e.g. supporting FireFox or Chrome) becomes easier because of the enhanced compatibility. This means your WebDriver-scripts can be easily converted into load test scripts.
This release includes additional improvements and defect fixes. The software can be downloaded from the release area.
