QA Engineer for Performance and Automated Testing

Cambridge, MA

Primary Responsibilities

  • Designing, writing and executing load test scripts in Java, using Xceptance Load Test (XLT)
  • Designing and creating automated tests using XLT
  • Executing and evaluating load and automated tests
  • Communicating test results to clients

Education, Experience, and Technical Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Demonstrated programming experience in Java
  • Solid knowledge of basic Web technologies such as HTTP/S, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Demonstrated experience with test automation using a tool from the xUnit family
  • Experience with performance testing
  • Demonstrated experience with test automation tools for web applications, such as Selenium, WebDriver, and QTP/UFT
  • Experience with Unix environments a plus
