Xceptance Donates Germany Scholarships to FSU Jena
We want to invest into education and Jena's future.
Being an IT company in Thuringia, Xceptance is donating three scholarships to the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena to help increase the appeal of Thuringia and Jena as business locations.
The Germany Scholorships are awarded to high-achieving students without considering their nationality or financial situation and provide money and other support meant to facilitate their academic carreer. This includes 300 euro per month, half of which are sponsored by the universities and the remainder by the Federal Government. Scholarship holders can also take advantage of certain internships, workshops, and networking events allowing them to get in touch with companies and experience work life.
The scholarships have been awarded on December 13, 2011 by dean Prof. Dr. Klaus Dicke. Xceptance received a certificate of appreciation.
