Thuringia’s Open-Source Prize for XLT
Xceptance is second-place winner of "Thuringia's Open-Source Prize"
After contributing to the introduction of the bachelor's e-commerce program at the Ernst Abbe University Jena five years ago, we are now also supporting financially a professorship supposed to introduce a qualified master's program. We do this together with the Thuringian Ministry of Economics, Science and Digital Society, local e-commerce leaders such as Stephan Schambach, as well as numerous e-commerce companies from Jena. The foundation contract was signed on June 29, 2018 in the Senate Hall of the Ernst Abbe University Jena.
The Jena internet economy is very important to us and we started our own business here many years ago. We are therefore happy to promote young talents and digital education. In addition to financial support for the professorship, we will also donate our expertise in software quality assurance by providing lectures and internships.
