Xceptance supports young explorers with donation to Witelo e.V.

Managing Director Dr. Christina Walther presents the donation

They are coding with hamsters or go on big journeys with small robots: the workshops of Witelo e.V. have been inspiring young people for science and technology for ten years now.

The unique feature of the "scientific and technical learning sites" is that so-called STEM education is offered as a supplement to the school curriculum and companies can also participate in various formats. STEM also includes computer science, and witelo participants learn about coding, robotics and algorithms in research clubs, on practical days and during a wide range of vacation activities.

By donating 500€ to the association, Xceptance would like to promote young people’s interest in these future-oriented topics at an early stage and casually gain perspectives for their career choice.

Managing Director Dr. Christina Walther sees the support as confirmation of her work: "Young people should learn how important an understanding of science and technology is in their everyday lives - but also what great job opportunities the STEM subjects offer."

About Witelo:

Witelo is the network of science and technology learning sites in Jena. The goal of its work is to get students enthusiastic about STEM subjects, i.e. mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology. A broad alliance of city institutions, companies and organizations supports witelo - the work of the association is financed by supporters and sponsors.

Further information on the numerous activities can be found on the witelo website.
