With Java Meetup Central Germany | Leipzig Vol. 1, a new platform for in-depth, hands-on Java exchange launches in the region Leipzig/Halle.

It will kick off the evening with a 15-minute lightning talk⚡ on a selected Java topic related to performance, JVM internals, or modern concurrency - compact, practical, and a warm-up for the discussion that follows.

✨ Highlight of the evening: A thematic deep dive with Java expert René Schwietzke on: "Parallel Programming is Hard"

Concurrency is one of the most challenging topics in software development and at the same time, it is everywhere.

René will explore why parallel programming is so difficult, where typical pitfalls lie, and which aspects Java developers need to understand in order to build robust and high-performance systems.

Afterwards, one simply wants to grab a drink together 🍺☕🥤, continue the conversation, dive deeper into discussions, and do some good old-fashioned tech talk.
